People tell me all the time how blessed I am to do the things that I am passionate about like blogging, being on YouTube, my social media business. I even have a passion for my temporary part time job as a nanny. I never really thought about it but I realize how many people don’t have the slightest idea what they are passionate about.

How To Find Your Passion
Try new things. Get out there and start doing new things. A lot of us don’t even realize that our passions are out there waiting for us, but we are stuck in our ways and won’t try anything new to discover it. It could be possible that you’ll find your calling in something you have never thought about. You never know until you try, right?              Â
Use your talents. The things you are talented at aren’t coincidences. A lot of times your passion or calling is directly related to the things you’re good at. Perhaps not in the way that you think or is more common. I love to music. Only people close to me know this, but I sing. I have always been a singer for as long as I have known. However, I have no passion in performing. I don’t even really like it. However, music is something I am good at. So, I started doing other things and discovered that while I do not enjoy performing solo, I love singing in groups because I am passionate about harmonies. I also discovered a passion in writing music not for myself. So I will be pursuing in the near future selling original songs and utilizing this talent of mine. Start using your talents. If you are good at drawing, look into artistic career paths. I love to write. I thought I would write my own book. I still might, but before then I ended falling in love with blogging. So use your talents and you’d be surprised at what you find you enjoy.
Listen to yourself. This is the hardest part. When it comes to following our passions, we have to learn to listen to OURSELVES. It doesn’t matter if what you’re passionate about doesn’t make any sense to anyone else. It doesn’t matter if it is not the career path you were previously headed towards. I thought was going to be a lawyer, LITERALLY my entire life until I became an adult, tried some new things, and discovered there were things I wanted so much more than becoming a suit in a courtroom (although I know I would’ve made a GREAT lawyer). Trusting your instincts and what makes you happy is genuinely the scariest thing you’ll have to do. It means so much more to you when it’s your passion on the line. But if you want to live a life getting paid to do what you love, you have to be willing to listen to your heart and follow that and not just what society and your environment suggests.                                 Â
Don’t rush the process. Rome wasn’t built in a day. It can take time to find your passion. Don’t rush or force yourself. I did find my passions young, but there are people who don’t figure out what they want to do until later in life and that’s okay. Enjoy your life and chase your passions at the same time. You’ll never regret experiencing new things during the journey.
A lot of this has been said before. A lot of it, if not all of it, you’ve likely heard before. The truth is that it isn’t hard to find your passion. What is actually hard is pursuing it. But it’s definitely worth it.
