Growing a business or brand does not come easily. It takes a lot of blood, sweat, and tears.


For those of you that are new here, I have been growing my business as a social media manager for the past four years. When I started, I honestly did not realize how important investing in my business was, but investing made a big difference and is the main reason I was able to take my business from earning only $100 per month to working for myself at home, full-time.


So, I wanted to share some ways you can invest in your business in order to build and grow your brand/business.

Invest Time

Investing time is usually the first investment we all make as business owners when we start. The important thing here is knowing how to spend your time and invest wisely in things that will get your business progressing faster.






Invest in Marketing

This taps into what I do but was still something I had to spend money on. Marketing includes websites, email marketing, and social media. Promoting and advertising for your brand or business. It is key for growing your business and often is too time-consuming if it is not in your field of expertise. It can also be stressful, so investing in someone who can do this for you (could be me, tehe) can make all the difference in building your brand or business.





Invest in improving your systems

Systems in business are often not spoken of enough. You want things to flow as easily as possible for your clients and customers. Systems can also help you keep track of your taxes and everything else so it is an important thing to invest in to make sure you are producing quality for those who want to work for you and to make things easier on yourself.





Invest in your personal development

Self-development is key when it comes to growing a business. Why? Mindset. Money management. Manifestation. Success habits. All things that persona development helps you to understand and build a skillset within. Constantly learning and growing is a HUGE key to building a business.





Invest in a coach

I love coaches, although I do believe in the importance of finding one that will give you actionable steps (not just affirmations and pep talks). Investing in a coach can be exactly what helps guide you to success within your business.




Invest in a team

A team was the magic that led my business to where it is. I have people who are working within their genius within my business so that I can work within mine and it makes a HUGE difference in marketing and growth strategies. Your team can be assistants who specialize in things you aren't good at or don't have time for. You could have a marketing team (usssssss) or a team of website and SEO experts. The point is a team can be exactly what takes your business to the next level.
