How To Use Pinterest for your business
Set your profile up RIGHT
Setting your business Pinterest profile properly is the FIRST thing you will want to do. You create a good description, title, and what your business is. In order to learn more about the set up and how to get started on your way with Pinterest and Tailwind you can take the same course that I took and helped skyrocket my blogging career. Pinterest with Ell will cover everything we will be covering in this post but far more in depth!
Get Tailwind
I am a firm believer in manual pinning, but Tailwind and all of it's tools make the HUGEST difference. You can schedule hundreds of pins in minutes and schedule for an entire month if you want! It takes the load off of making sure you're active on Pinterest regularly. It offers you best time slots for pinning. You can check out the course mentioned above for all of the Tailwind deets or get your Tailwind account here.
Make good quality graphics.
Now, I am not the best at this, I'm not going to lie. My pin creating skills are NOT all of that, BUT that's why we learn OR we delegate. If you can't afford to hire someone, then practice. The longer you do it, you may be able to find your own style of pin creations that is unique to your brand!
SEO, SEO, SEO.
Search engine optimization is important for blog postgs AND for pins. Pinterest uses keywords in the titles, descriptions, AND pin images. So, make sure you're doing your SEO research.
Pay attention to what works.
As you're pinning manually and scheduling, you'll discover what works and what doesn't to get your audience. There is the pin sizes, colors, fonts, and everything that can make a diffedrence. How often you manually pin can make a difference. So take note and pay attention to those analytics.
