All right you guys, it’s official. We are soon to be uopn that terrible time. That time for discounts, crowds, and Christmas preparations. Don’t get me wrong. I LOVE the holidays. I am more giddy on Christmas day and New Years than I am in the whole year COMBINED, but that is not what we’re talking about. We are talking about the dreaded BLACK FRIDAY.
Personally, I’d say skip it. I don’t have time to be fighting people over race car beds, but I know those deals just sound too sweet to pass up, huh. That’s why you’re here. Well, I understand and I have been there and that is why we are going to talk about the best way to get through Black Friday with as little stress as possible.
How To Survive Black Friday
Know what you want. Look up what is going to be on sale, know what you’re searching for so that when you get to the stores, you’re on a mission. That direction will take a lot of the stress of the search away.
Take a partner. Two sets of eyes are better than one. It makes it easier to divide and conquer… plus it’s a lot more enjoyable suffering with someone else.
Have your ads, coupons, and monies ready. It’s better to be prepared and ready to pay. Don’t make your life or the lives of the employees any harder by having to rummage through your already overly filled purse (or wallet) to pay what it is you need to pay.
Be prepared to let some things on your list go. There are going to be people who are quicker than you and get to what you want first. If you’re one of those jerks that try to snatch items out of people’s hand and try to fight over things… seek help. It’s never that serious. Don’t expect to get every single thing on your list. It’s just not realistic. Some things you have to pay full price for.
Again I say, don’t go. The best way to survive Black Friday is to stay your butt home.Stop going. I no longer participate in the craziness that is Black Friday. Instead, I indulge in things like Cyber Monday where I am not in danger of violence or general human interaction. Otherwise, I just find my deals in my own time as time passes along.
